"Bharat was contracted as the European Finance Manager when the previous manager retired after more than 30 years. Whilst Bharat was engaged from our UK office he was responsible for managing the accounting and financial affairs of the French, Dutch and German offices and report directly to the European Manager. This also included liaising with external auditors, banks and lawyers in all 4 countries.
With Bharat’s deep experience and commitment he always provided the European Manager with timely and comprehensive reports.
Bharat also made many recommendations on how to improve the accounting system and implemented them.
Since these European entries were either owned by USA SUB S companies or owned directly by USA citizens, Bharat completed USA FORMS 1120S, 5741 and FORM 114 for filings by the USA shareholders. These forms were always completed accurately and on time.
The company products were sold to a 3rd party on 1st January 2020 and Bharat worked on the legal and accounting requirements in closing down the entities properly, including created a database of all the records for the last 7 years in case the tax authorities require further information or if an audit is requested.
